This is a minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a needle pen. We is the MD Needle Pen here at the studio. The mechanical action of the pen allows the needles to puncture the skin and create a controlled injury at a specific depth. Each puncture creates a channel that triggers the bodies natural healing process to fill these micro wounds by producing new collagen and elastin in the papillary dermis. In addition, new capillaries are formed for improved blood supply.
With Microneedling, the top layer of the skin is parted without being damaged, leaving the skin intact. It does not “burn” your skin like peels or more invasive lasers.

The needle penetration depth can be adjusted from 0.25mm to 2.50mm into the skin depending on the area of the body and the skin condition being treated. Using skin needling consistently will trigger the bodies repair process until the desired level of skin rejuvenation is achieved. Microneedling results in the production of new collagen and elastin, improvement in skin tone and texture, firmness as well as reduction in scars, pore size, and stretch marks.
Microneedling with PRP stimulates the body’s natural healing process, helps rejuvenate the skin, reduces lines and wrinkles, reduces sun damage, improves skin laxity, improves the look of acne scars and stretch mark.
Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) is the evolution of blood concentrate therapy; sometimes referred to as the next generation PRP. Unlike Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), PRF is free of additives and is 100% natural. It consists of platelets, WBC, fibrin and even mesenchymal stem cells (not found in PRP) and are excellent for aesthetic indications. PRF allows for the slow release of growth factors from platelets over days versus hours with PRP.
How is it used?
• As a standalone autologous filler
• In conjunction with microneedling
• As an adjunct treatment with fillers
• For hair growth & rejuvenation
Simply put, PRF is considered the upgraded version of PRP. PRF uses a higher concentration of platelets, fibrin, white blood cells, and even a small amount of stem cells, which you won’t find present in PRP therapy. At the core, PRF is just a more advanced version of PRP. We highly encourage all of our clients to test out both treatments so they can personally experience the difference and find out which works better for them.
PRF is an add-on treatment that increases the benefits you get from other anti-aging treatments, including fillers, microneedling, and hair growth treatments. Upon arriving for your appointment, a small amount of blood is drawn by one of our skilled, highly trained medical professionals. From there, we put your blood into a centrifuge, which spins the blood, allowing the red and white blood cells to bind, creating a collagen-rich formula, which is then applied to your face.
In addition, PRF is an all-natural treatment that involves no additives or chemicals. Instead, we rely solely on your blood to help smoothen the skin and restore youthful glow back into your face, making it an excellent option for those who want to achieve a natural, fresh face glow without having to undergo invasive surgery.
